Gandhorekhar panthe tomar shunye goti,
Lekhan re mor chhando-daanar projapati –
Swapnoboner chhaay aaloy beras duli
Paran-kanar bindusurar neshar ghore.
Choitro-haaway je chanchaler khonik baasa
Paatay paatay koris prochar taahar bhaasha –
Apsarider doler diner abir-dhuli
Koutuke bhor paathay ke tor paakhay bhore.
Tor maajhe mon kirti aapon niskatarei korlo hela.
Taar chikan ranger likhan khanektarei kheyal khela.
Sur bnaadhe aar sur se haray dande pale,
Gaan bohe jaay lupta surer chhaayar tale,
Paschate aar chaay na taahar chapal tuli –
Roy na bnaadha aapon chhobir raakhir dore.
